flooring, but in an industrial environment the flooring can be made up of more
heavier material like concrete and other heavy duty flooring. Whilst domestic vacuum cleaners will pick up mostly light dirt

Industrial Hoovers – There are several different types of industrial
vacuum cleaners, ranging from small machines which can be operated by hand by
staff, to larger ride-on machines. The
type of machine you choose will depend upon the size of area you need to keep
clean, the type of debris being collected and the noise level required in a
public space. For example, a larger
floor area may require a sit-on cylinder machine because it is durable and has
a strong suction power. However, a more
traditional upright style hoover may be better for use in long narrow corridors.
· Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner – Where there are liquid spillages, a wet and dry vacuum cleaner can be used to collect both
debris and liquid. This vacuum cleaner
adapts from each task by changing the filter and potentially the waste
collection container in order to keep the different types of residue separate.

– If an industrial area has to cope with a lot more traffic, dirt can become a
lot more ground into the floor. A scrubber dryer is a good machine to use in these
circumstances. The equipment has
rotating brushes which work with the water to lift dirt away from the floor and
suck it into the machine. As with industrial hoovers, a scrubber
dryer can be pedestrian operated or ride-on and are available in a range
of sizes and styles.

greatly to domestic models as they tend to be larger and more hardwearing. They are able to pick up different types of
